The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation started working on a legislative offer, regulating the cryptocurrency turnover within the country. It was reported by Sergey Katyrin, the President of the Chamber, according to RNS.
He says that top governmental authorities are beginning to discuss bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general more and more thoroughly. Sergey Katyrin notes that there have been reports on the possibility to trade cryptocurrencies on the Moscow exchange. Besides, one is actively discussing ways of protecting citizens from cryptocurrency trading swindlers.
“The specialized committee will focus on exploring this issue in the nearest time, and I believe that its activity will result in certain legislative offers on the regulation of this market,” Sergey Katyrin states.
He also stresses that all changes of financial structures should be supported by the authorities.
